Tourists reaching Thikkodi. Kappad, and other tourism destinations in Koyilandy assembly constituency can soon rely on an exclusive tourist bus to travel from one destination to the other. Local MLA K Dasan is planning to press in a tourist bus for improving the tourism prospects of the region.
The move is to connect different tourism destinations in the region including Thikkodi beach, Veliyamkallu, Kappad beach, Koyilandy Harbour, , Parappally, Iringal craft village and Kunhali Marakkar Memorial. The bus will be purchased using the local area development fund of the MLA.
Kollam beach, Thikkodi beach (the proposed drive in beach in Kozhikode), historic locations like Kappad and Kunhali Marakkar memorial and other destinations are expected to witness increase flow of domestic tourists with the introduction of the bus service.
